Brenten Handfield, born on December 24th, 2003, hails from the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands. He discovered his love for drumming at a very young age and has been dedicated to honing his skills ever since.
Currently in his second year at the University of Miami’s FROST School of Music, Brenten is studying Jazz Drums Performance. Despite his achievements, he remains grounded and appreciative of the opportunity to pursue his passion in such a reputable institution.
Coming from the Turks and Caicos Islands, Brenten brings a touch of his Caribbean roots to his drumming. He views music as a lifelong journey of learning and self-discovery, always striving to improve and share his humble contribution to the world of jazz. Brenten’s goal is to make music where it can resonate with those who appreciate the beauty and simplicity of genuine passion.
