Scott Nadelson

TRUMPET

Currently living in Pittsburgh, Scott Nadelson is forging a path nationally as an in-demand performer.  He plays solo cornet for the River City Brass Band and is the founder of C Street Brass, an internationally touring chamber ensemble.

Scott plays lead trumpet for the electronic funk band ‘Beauty Slap’, the NASCAR Awards Show Band, and Nu Deco Ensemble a contemporary orchestra in Miami, Florida. Additionally, he plays regularly at the Kennedy Center for Mason Bates’ KC Jukebox new music series.

Scott began his love affair with trumpet at the age of 12, studying from New York City freelance god Chris Jaudes and was one of two trumpet players to win the prestigious New Jersey State Governors School award. While earning his MM’ from Carnegie Mellon University and his BM’ from Peabody Conservatory Scott not only honed his love for music but for great coffee, rye whiskey, and barbeque as well.
