Juan Berrios

Originally from Bayamón, Puerto Rico and based in Central Florida, Juan Berrios enjoys a multifaceted career as a performer and educator. Known for his great versatility, Juan has performed with a variety of ensembles ranging from chamber groups and symphony orchestras to big bands and British style brass bands. In addition to performing with Nu Deco Ensemble, Juan regularly performs with groups such as the Sarasota Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic, and the Atlantic Classical Orchestra among others. He has also performed as guest principal horn with the National Symphony Orchestra of the Dominican Republic, and has shared the stage with many of today’s most notable brass musicians in groups such as the Boston Brass and Brass All-Stars Big Band, and the Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass. As a member of the renowned Dallas Brass, Juan tours the country regularly performing hundreds of concerts and educational clinics each year. Passionate about music education, Juan regularly works with students of all ages in many different settings, be it private or marching band instruction, or as a guest clinician or guest conductor.
