Jeanie Hwang, a violist from Dallas, Texas, holds a bachelor’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a master’s degree from Florida International University. She studied under Ronald Houston, Mark Jackobs, and Michael Klotz. With nearly a decade of teaching experience, Jeanie spent four years as a preparatory orchestra assistant at CIM, where she frequently led sectionals and rehearsals. As a performer, Jeanie has appeared as a soloist with the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra and has played with the Nu Deco Ensemble, Palm Beach Symphony, New World Symphony, Opera Naples, and Canton Symphony.
