About This Show

We’ll kick off the new year back at the Bandshell with GRAMMY® nominated artist, JP Saxe. Pushed to explore his artistry by his world-renowned grandfather Janos Starker, who is regarded as one the greatest cellists of the 20th century, the program also includes music from Starker’s friend and musical collaborator, the towering 20th-century composer Bela Bartok as well as trailblazing composer Erich Korngold. The concert will feature Nu Deco’s second reimagination and deep dive into the music of the influential band, Radiohead.

To allow for the best live music experience at the Bandshell, Nu Deco will be continuing to partner with Silent Revolution Events to provide patrons with the best listening experience. The Silent Revolution headphones will be provided upon entry to the venue to every ticket-buyer. Please note that there will not be a traditional PA for these outdoor performances.

JP Saxe has always invited the world to eavesdrop on his internal dialogue. The GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist transforms his innermost thoughts into eloquent and engaging pop underscored by unfiltered songwriting and cinematic production. The Toronto-born and Los Angeles-based troubadour unassumingly crafted the soundtrack to this generation’s most uncertain moment with “If The World Was Ending” [feat. Julia Michaels]. Produced by six-time GRAMMY® Award winner FINNEAS, the emotionally charged duet picked up a platinum plaque in the United States, went quadruple-platinum in Canada, generated over one billion-plus streams, and received a 2021 GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Song of the Year.” It also set the stage for his Hold It Together EP.
