Dina Kostic is Principal Second Violin of Nu Deco Ensemble. A former member of the Florida Philharmonic, the New World Symphony, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, she currently also performs with the Palm Beach Opera, the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, and is Assistant Concertmaster of Symphonia, Boca Raton. She is a per-service violinist with the Naples Philharmonic, a substitute with the Minnesota and Sarasota Orchestras, and has performed as Guest Concertmaster with Amarillo Symphony and Orlando Philharmonic. She spends her summers playing chamber music with the Palm Beach Chamber Music Festival, and has performed at festivals in Italy, Japan and Colorado. Ms. Kostic has played in the pit for Broadway Across America, most recently the production of The King and I, and has not only shared the stage with some of the greatest classical artists, but has also performed at the MTV VMAs, and with crossover acts such as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Andrea Bocelli. A native of Belgrade, Serbia, she moved to the States at age fifteen to study at Southern Methodist University, and holds a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University. Ms. Kostic has been Adjunct Faculty at Barry University in Miami Shores since 2003.
