Nu Deco’s first-ever holiday album, Unwrapped, is available now! This album includes ‘Nu’ Nutcracker, a reimagination of Tchaikovsky’s iconic holiday classic, as well as the mesmerizing Chanukah 5776, which was composed by Nu Deco Ensemble CEO and co-artistic director Sam Hyken.

“Written in 2015 (and the Jewish year of 5776)…Chanukah 5776 takes some of the most famous songs of the Jewish holiday and reimagines them in new and dynamic ways. The work highlights the versatility and virtuosity of Nu Deco Ensemble, as styles such as hip-hop, klezmer, and jazz are the environment for these famous melodies,” says Sam Hyken.
