September 11, 2o24 – Miami’s 21st-century chamber orchestra Nu Deco Ensemble, led by Jacomo Bairos and Sam Hyken, announces their 10th anniversary season which includes performances at the iconic Colony Theater, the Miami Beach Bandshell, The Citadel, and the Adrienne Arsht Center. This season Nu Deco Ensemble presents new and dynamic original compositions, 21st-century orchestral classics, eclectic living composers, and re-imaginations of Fleetwood Mac, Ray Charles, Prince, and many more.
Nu Deco Ensemble’s innovative, genre-bending sound will be highlighted through unique collaborations and a wide range of musical styles. They are honored to welcome Grammy-winning R&B and jazz sensation Ledisi as well as the dynamic Cuban pianist, Alfredo Rodríguez plus many more to be announced.
These virtuosic and award-winning artists combined with Nu Deco Ensemble musicians will celebrate an eclectic variety of sounds, styles and cultures. Season 10 is set to kick off October 5th and 6th for a 2 night run at the Colony Theatre
